Blizzard Beasts: Animal Adaptations to the Cold

  • Northern Colorado Wildlife Center Fort Collins, Colorado, 80526 United States (map)

Here in Northern Colorado, our winters can be tough. Temperature can get down to below freezing and snow can pile up. Unlike humans, animals don’t have a heated home to go to when it gets cold, nor do they have a grocery store where they can easily purchase food. Every species has a slightly different way they deal with the lack of food and warmth. Join us for a hands-on learning experience about animal adaptations to the cold!

This program is for ages 7 and up.
